María Cantero

María Cantero’s outstanding sailing career includes a series of notable achievements in national and international competitions, from her title as the Spanish Champion of Female 29er in 2012 and 2013 to her victories in the Spanish Championship of 49erFX in 2020 and 2021.

Her bronze at the Youth 49erFX World Championship in 2013 stands out. In 2024, María Cantero was selected to participate in the first Women’s Accelerator Program of SailGP, in collaboration with Apex Group Ltd as part of the Spanish SailGP team.
