Pedro Tomé

Pedro holds a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, specialising in artificial intelligence, multimedia signal processing, pattern recognition and machine learning. He spent a long career as a research scientist in different national and international research centres of excellence, where he contributed to the state of the art with scientific research in different topics such as biometric security, big data, algorithmic research, data analysis and computer vision. In 2015 he joined EVO Banco and after several internal promotions he now holds the position of Director of Disruptive Innovation & Advanced Analytics, whose focus is on data business using the big data ecosystem to extract value from data and create new innovative/disruptive capabilities, products and services that can be taken to the real world and impact the business.
