Director of the Digital Unit at Tecnalia Research&Innovation, a multidisciplinary team of researchers and digital technology developers, aimed at the creation and development of R&D based digital solutions for the benefit of innovative and digital-intensive companies. These technologies are all about artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, computer vision, XR, robotics, digital ledger technologies, IoT, cloud and Big Data tools, high-performance architectures, advanced interaction etc. We also explore through applied experimentation disruptive technologies such as quantum computing, quantum sensors, QKD or post-quantum cryptography. I have 30 years of experience in the digital industry, having worked 11 of those years in the telecommunications sector at a wide range of locations. As part of my current responsibilities I am Vice president of the AI and Bid Data Commission at AMETIC.
