José María González

José María is a telecommunications engineer who earned his degree from Universidad Carlos III. He furthered his education with a Master’s at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and completed his Ph.D. at Universidad Carlos III. He started his career long ago and has worked for different companies like Telefonica, Minsait and Orange. In 2021, he joined Securitize, a company dedicated to enhancing access to private investing through the use of smart contracts. At Securitize, José created and led the data department. He developed a comprehensive data strategy that involved centralizing various data sources into a single repository, ensuring data quality, and documenting all information for easy access by end-users. Jose’s work has significantly contributed to the efficiency and accessibility of data within the company, supporting its innovative mission in the financial technology sector.
