Daniel González-Bootello

“Daniel González Bootello holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Málaga.

He began his career as a strategy and business consultant at Arthur Andersen, and then served as the head of the central region of Spain in the project for developing the internet network through power lines for Iberdrola. Subsequently, he joined the Network of Technological Spaces of Andalusia, where he worked as a project manager, operations director, and later as general director.

Currently, he leads the Smart City Cluster. In this role, he collaborates with companies, research entities, and public administrations to generate projects for smart cities.
He is also president of the Spanish Clusters Federation, Clusters.es
Since 2020, he has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Intelligent Cities Challenge of the European Commission.”
