Álvaro Benítez Fernandez

Álvaro is a Director in the Business and Innovation Consulting area of Grant Thornton. He holds a bachelor´s degree in Economics. Additionally, he complemented his education, with a Master in Digital Product Management and an Advanced Programme in Venture Capital, M&A and Transaction Finance.

He started his career at Banco Santander (Global Transaction Banking – Corporate Investment Banking), and later on, he entered the world of entrepreneurship where he collaborated with different startups, mainly in the area of strategy and finance.

In 2016 he founded his own startup related to technology and artificial intelligence where he led the financial and business development area.

He has experience in designing new products and services with high added value, commercial plans and projects related to customer experience strategies and business process improvement.

He also currently represents Mobility City, Museum of Future Mobility.
