Alberto Ruiz Carmena

Architect from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He has been Municipal Architect of the Department of Licenses and Urban Discipline, with responsibility for the Historic Center Section and institutional actions of the Urban Planning Management of Malaga, which is why he has been dedicated to the historic center for almost 20 years, so he is the reason for his great interest in urban renewal in the complex system of a city that brings together multiple disciplines. Alberto has worked for an urban planning that should be based on the balance of human activities, in a humanized environment integrated into the territory, considering the compact, complex and traditional Mediterranean city as the perfect model of a sustainable city. Currently, he is an Architect of the Program Service of the Malaga City Council at the OMAU Urban Environment Observatory, highlighting the coordination of different workshops, conferences and projects.
