In a context of regulatory tsunami for companies in the digital economy the panel ‘Smart Regulation, a reflection on the regulatory tsunami affecting the digital ecosystem’ will reflect on the main regulatory proposals (Digital Services Act, Dta Act or the Directive on improving working conditions in platform work) that are being worked on in the European Union and that will soon be part of the national regulatory framework updating the rules of the game of the digital ecosystem. In this context, the coexistence between expectations and the realism of the objectives of the proposals, the role of Europe as regulator of all these technologies worldwide, the relevance of the evaluation of these policies or the speed at which the technologies and companies to be regulated evolve will be key points of the debate.
