Wtih a short research, a common thread between some retailers’ expansion to the in-store experience is the use of technology in different ways to meet new consumer expectations. New physical amenities are being augmented by technologies that bring the customer experience full-circle. Data is used to create more personalized interactions and make better product recommendations, while other tools and tactics are creating a sense of community that will incentivize customers to keep coming back.
