I have spent the last 17 years of my career at Clear Channel UK, an Out of Home advertising and infrastructure business. My role is focussed on the infrastructure side of the business, developing and maintaining long term partnerships with municipal landlords, providing bus shelter infrastructure in return for advertising rights. Having a clear digital strategy has enabled us to grow revenue which in turn has meant we reinvest more back into smarter and greener infrastructure, supporting more sustainable towns and cities. A virtuous circle. The pandemic brought about significant change following stay at home guidance, which is not great for outdoor advertising! However, working practices and relationships adapted (I got to spend more time with my family) and the business ultimately came out the other side stronger.
