Sergio Banderas Moreno

Computer Engineer with 7 years of experience as a programmer and analyst at British Telecom, Vodafone, and Unicaja Banco. Since 2004, working as a VET teacher in IT, teaching programming and coordinating internationalisation projects. Currently leading an Erasmus+ KA171 consortium with 10 Spanish VET centres and partners in Asia, Africa, and the Balkans. Also involved in a COVE project to improve student-company collaboration in Dual VET, and mentoring volunteers in the European Solidarity Corps from 2017. This year, managed Erasmus+ mobilities for 27 students and 24 teachers. In 2020, contributed, together with the Ministry of Education, to the creation of the VET Specialisation Course in Video Game Development and VR, which has implemented and taught since 2021 at Polo Nacional de Contenidos Digitales.
Recognised with several awards, including the Educa ABANCA Award for Best VET Teacher, Digital Skills Awards, SIMO Educación, and the Málaga City Award for Education.
