Miguel Ángel Calero

At IZERTIS, I lead Emerging Technologies, focusing on blockchain, Web3, AI, and quantum computing. I’ve scaled the team from 10 to 52, driving innovation in digital identity, tokenization, and smart contracts.
Previously, I co-founded Wealize, a digital product studio acquired by Izertis in 2022. I’m a board member at Alastria Blockchain Ecosystem, INATBA and expert at ISO TC307 and CEN/CENELEC JTC19 active in academia, where I teach data analysis. I also mentor startups and advise on digital transformation and entrepreneurship. My ventures include coSfera (coworking and innovation), PLANEM (civil engineering), and Caricae Agromediterranea (fruit exports). I contribute to UnoCeroUno, a nonprofit supporting the local tech ecosystem, and have served as director or mentor at StartX, Founder Institute, and Google Launchpad. I regularly organize events like Startup Weekend and BetaBeers.
