Joaquín Janer

Joaquim Janer is a manager with more than 50 years of experience in the hotel and tourism sector. He currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of the BlueBay Hotels & Resorts Group. Throughout his career, Janer has played key roles in the direction and management of hotel establishments both in Spain and internationally. He has been general manager of operations in several hotel chains and has led operations in destinations such as the Caribbean, Mexico, Cuba and Panama. In addition, he has been a professor at the School of Hotel Management and Tourism of Sant Pol de Mar. Among other awards, he has been distinguished with the Silver Medal for Merit in Tourism and the Ignasi Domenech National Award. He has also held positions such as the presidency of the hospitality industry in Almería (ASEMPAL) and the shared vice-presidency of ZONTUR and CIDH.
