Ignacio Bocos García

He began his professional career at Management Solutions and later became part of Grupo Santander, Banco Popular as Director of Methodology, and Bankia as Director of Data & Models, leading teams in the development of Credit Risk Models and Data Management.
He is lecturer at various universities and business schools about Internal Risk Models and Data Ethics and is Academic Director in Afi School of Finance. He is also a columnist for Big Data Magazine.
He holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of La Rioja, a Master’s degree in Research in Economics from UNED, and a postgraduate degree in Solvency II from INESE. He is certified in Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
He has received the award for academic excellence from the Government of La Rioja and the Excellence in Data & Analytics Strategy award from the CDO Club Spain & Latam.
