After the phasing out of the 3rd party cookie (3PC), the industry has seen the flourishing of numerous ID solutions based on personal data through registration. Although some raise doubts amongst DPOs about their compliance with GDPR, they seem to be viable solutions for a digital world without 3PC. However, the vast majority of users browse the open web in an anonymous way, what we call non authenticated traffic. IAB Spain is developing a pseudo-anonymous ID solution that generates a random ID, leveraging on the vast implementation of the TCF V2.0 in Europe.
