Daniel Martínez Junquera : General Manager of Visit Gijón, the tourism department of the Gijón/Xixón City Council, since June 2020. Before taking on this role, he was hotel General Manager at the Abba Hotels chain since 2012. He has also held the position of president of the Business Tourism Club of the Principality of Asturias from 2017 to 2020. With a degree in Tourism from the Jovellanos University School, he has over fifteen years of experience in the national and international tourism industry.
