Peter Kawalek

Peter Kawalek’s areas of expertise include digital economy, entrepreneurship, information systems and cybernetics. He is the author of numerous academic papers and the textbook Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology (with Lorenzo and Wharton). Peter has extensive experience of working in the private, public and charity sectors. His previous experience and research projects include work with SAP, British Telecommunications, Fujitsu, GNER, four23, Manchester City FC, New York City FC, Siemens, IBM, Salford City Council, Triumph Motorcycles, and the Royal Commonwealth Society. He helped to establish the pioneering Lancashire-wide Multi-Agency Data Exchange project with the constabulary, fire service, council, NHS, probation and drug action teams. He also has key experience with Office an Taoiseach (Prime Minister) in Dublin, NHS in Manchester and Salford, the Department of Communities and Local Government, Cabinet Office and Greater Manchester Police.
