

Pedro Carrascal is the CEO of the Platform of Patient Organizations (POP) since October 2022.
He has a degree in Law from the University of Deusto and a Master’s degree in business management and administration (MBA) from the University of the Basque Country. Teacher in different university master’s degrees in the field of health, he has also been co-author of various books in the sector, as well as scientific publications in the field of patients.
He has been linked to the movement of people with multiple sclerosis since he was 8 years old and his mother was diagnosed with this disease, at which time she, together with other people, created the Bizkaia Association. He has been director of ADEMBI (Association of Multiple Sclerosis of Bizkaia) for 25 years (until 2022), as well as Multiple Sclerosis Euskadi and Multiple Sclerosis Spain, positions that he has held simultaneously during those years.
