

Jerome Glenn, CEO, The Millennium Project, a leading global participatory think tank with 71 Nodes around the world is leading a global assessment of artificial general intelligence (AGI), updating 15 Global Challenges for humanity’s future, and completed Work/Technology 2050: Scenarios and Actions about the coming technological changes for business, education, and government policy. He will share the key insights from these studies and the just competed 20th edition of the State of the Future report. He invented the Futures Wheel and concepts such as conscious-technology, TransInstitutions, tele-nations, management by understanding, self-actualization economy, feminine brain drain, and definitions of environmental security and collective Intelligence. He sent his first email in 1973, and in the mid-1980s he was instrumental in getting x.25 packet switching in 29 developing countries which was key to their later getting low-cost access to the Internet.
