Position:
PhD in telecom/biomedical engineer. In 2022 appointed (Board) Director of Innovation at EIT Health, the largest innovation private partnership for Innovation in Health in Europe. She also acted from 2019 to 2023 as CEO of EIT Health Spain and board member of EIT Health.
Cristina has developed an extensive international career in research, digital health and healthcare transformation: previously at the ESA, Hewlett Packard, Telefonica R+D and Philips, where she managed the European programs in Telehealth, Population Health, and VBHC.
She has held representation positions in industrial organizations, standardization committees, expert forums and innovation programs like COCIR, CEN, ITU and the EC.
In 2021 she was elected among the 50 future HIMSS digital health world leaders and the 100 women leaders in Spain (lastop100).
