Currently, we are immersed in an era of new generative artificial intelligence that is causing an unprecedented shift in the world. This technological revolution is radically transforming our way of life and the dynamics of work. Large companies are announcing the automation of numerous tasks, which entails the need to restructure their teams. In this context, it is crucial to generate a debate around the ethical and educational concerns that arise and reflect on whether we are taking the right course to adapt work to the pace required by this new generation of advanced tools.
Techno-Humanism, as a movement, acknowledges the power and potential of digital technology and artificial intelligence to improve our lives and build a better world. However, at the same time, it is also aware of the need to establish normative ethics that guide the development and implementation of these technologies, ensuring that they serve people rather than the other way around. The goal of this conference is to explore how Techno-Humanism can provide a useful framework for addressing educational challenges in a constantly evolving and accelerating digital ecosystem. It also aims to ensure that our societies can make the most of the opportunities offered by generative artificial intelligence, minimizing risks and preserving fundamental human values.
